Data Analytics for Adaptive Management

April 16 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm CEST

Explore how data analytics tools play a crucial role in humanitarian emergency response. We’ll delve into topics such as satellite imagery, damage assessment models, and other powerful analytical tools. Discover how these tools enhance preparedness, response, and recovery efforts during crises. In times of crisis, efficient and impactful emergency operations are essential for saving lives and supporting communities. This webinar aims to highlight the importance of data analytics in achieving these goals.

With a bachelor’s degree in Geography and master’s degree in GIS, I work as a Data and Geospatial Analyst, applying my expertise in GIS, map cartography, data visualization and analytics and entry-level machine learning. I serve as a key member of the ICT4D (Information, Communication and Technology for Development) within Catholic Relief Services and am active in promoting smart and effective use of data and spatial analysis techniques to support CRS programming worldwide.
